This week we will begin a 3 week unit on things around the house. There are a lot of things in a household. I will be introducing over 300 words in the next 3 weeks but I do not expect the children to memorize all of them. The purpose of introducing them to so many words is so that they can become familiar with them and recognize them when they hear them in their classroom, in stories being read, or in any other situation.
